About Kadawa and Our Mission There
High Rock Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Christian based outreach programs. Our current focus is on Kadawa, a village of 10,000 people, in the southwest region of Kenya.
High Rock Foundation seeks to model Jesus, following his words form Luke 10, when He said, “...the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”
We desire to be a part of the harvest and to disciple and provide assistance and support to the household of faith.
Projects in Kadawa, Kenya
Kids for Kids Program
With a small donation of $75, we will be able to provide one goat for a child in the village of Kadawa. The child that receives the goat will have training and oversight, teaching them to raise, breed, and milk the goat, which will provide a resource for helping support the child. This child will also have an opportunity to receive an education. It is required by the Kenyan Government that each child who attends school must wear a uniform, which will be sewn by the residents. Your donation will pay for both the goat and the uniform. This program is sponsored by High Rock Foundation and H.E.A.R.T., which is a hospice and care center for AIDS victims in Kenya and Nairobi.
Mission Teams of 1 to 20 individuals, led by Dan and Shirley McCabe or a member of a previous team, will travel to Kadawa and serve the community. You can be a part of this ministry by joining a team and traveling to Kenya, by providing financial support to the team members, by joining a prayer team that will offer prayer for divine guidance for the team, or by contributing funds to support the general administrative expenses for High Rock Foundation.
Malaria is a serious problem in Kadawa. For a donation of $10, your sponsorship of the Mosquito Net program will help stop malaria in the village. Residents will sew mosquito nets and we will then provide them to the people of Kadawa.
High Rock Foundation has established a relationship with HIV/AIDS victims in Kadawa. We are providing medicines and education for the infected villagers.
There is a great need in Kadawa, Kenya for donations of specific items, including such critical items as medical equipment and supplies, bibles, school supplies and text books, cribs, computers, clothes and bedding, bicycles, and much more. You can be a part of this ministry in future years by contributing specific needed items, by contributing funds to purchase specific need items, or by contributing funds to support the general administrative expenses of High Rock Foundation.
